Who or what is your inspiration in business?
My children, husband and family. I’ve had many obstacles to overcome as a woman in business and I want to show them that what leadership, tenacity and determination looks like. Women in business generally do not get the same recognition, same opportunities and same treatment as counterparts and deserve more. Making an impact with schools, our environment and young entrepreneurs is both exciting and rewarding and drives me to do more each day.

How do you stay motivated?
I constantly strive for the next big project. I am never complacent with settling. I always know there is more to do and make a difference in young lives and share my product with more and more schools. Searching for more influencers, brand ambassadors and families willing to help spread the word has grown this grass root product (invention) into what it is and for that, I’m grateful.

What would you do with the $25,000?
If I won $25,000 I would use at least $5,000 of it to build a successful Amazon social push for the next winter season. I would also use some of it to redesign two production tools I have to create a new sku on Amazon for a new bundle product. Investing in the business ultimately helps us grow the business and makes a larger impact in communities and schools.
