Time of use on our electric bill. About a year ago, I noticed our electric bill was out of sight. Once I realized our utility had moved us to a time of use (TOU) billing; I instigated a new policy of no laundry or dishwasher use from 4 pm to 9 pm. I started using the delay start modes on those specific machines.
Could we do better in our scheduling of the a/c? Yes. Will I? To be determined.
If your electric bill seems out of control, look to see if you are on a time of use billing and how you are using electricity during the on peak hours.

Every once in a great while, I have to make take a weekend off to spend with my husband and extended family. This was the weekend that I choose to do so.

Congratulations to Ryan & Deb for today’s closing on their former home in Candlewood MHP.
This listing had several ups and downs, including going under and out of contract multiple times due to lenders not being able to finance the different buyers.
Buying a manufactured home on a rented lots faces many challenges. Lenders have different loans and parameters for such homes.
On top of that, the buyer has to also be approved to rent the space in a MHP (manufactured home park).
We knew this would be a challenge at the beginning. We just did not know how big of a challenge it would be.
