We looked at 378 homes for sale and named our Deal of the Week based on saves for its age group. The homes we checked on Zillow averaged 38 saves. This home has 112, which is 192% above that average. It also pulled in 1,395 views. That is a lot of attention for one listing.

Saves and views tell us buyers are looking. They do not tell us everything, but they are a real signal worth paying attention to.

NAR Pending Home Sales Report Shows 0.3% Increase in August
The latest NAR Pending Home Sales Report brings a bit of movement: pending home sales edged up 0.3% month-over-month in August. However, if we look back a year, activity is down 4.7%. Regionally, the South and West saw some increased contract activity, while the Northeast and Midwest (where our West Michigan communities fall) experienced declines. All regions are feeling the impact of higher mortgage rates, which continue to influence both buyers and sellers.
