Pearson Christensen, PLLP is looking for the best second-year law students hoping to live and work in Grand Forks after law school. A primary goal is to provide law clerks with an accurate picture of life as an associate at Pearson Christensen, PLLP. Pearson Christensen, PLLP attorneys practice in a variety of areas of the law, including commercial litigation, estate planning, municipal law, real estate law, corporate law, family law, probate litigation, and criminal law, amongst others. You will receive real-world, practical experience through participation in client meetings, drafting memoranda, supporting attorneys with research projects, attending court proceedings, and so much more. This paid position will allow you to explore different practice areas and discover your passion. Your time as a law clerk will include both formal and informal mentoring, feedback, and learning opportunities. Applicants should be second-year law students with a strong interest in living and working in the Grand Forks area after law school, and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw. Applicants must submit a cover letter, writing sample, resume, and law school transcript.
