🏡 Thursday’s Real Estate Term of the Week 🏡

Contingent Property

When a home is listed as contingent, it means the seller has accepted an offer, but certain conditions (called contingencies) must be met before the sale can officially move forward.

Common contingencies might include:
✔️ Home inspection
✔️ Financing approval
✔️ Appraisal
✔️ The buyer selling their current home

Until those conditions are met, the deal isn’t fully finalized — and sometimes backup offers are still accepted!
