CITY CARES | FREE HOUSEHOLD GOODS DISTRIBUTION

This Saturday, October 10 | Distribution Begins at 12 PM
City Church of Goldsboro | 1309 W. Grantham Street, Goldsboro, NC

City Cares partners with World Vision for a major FREE Household Goods Distribution! Our 18-wheeler arrives with a variety of items for individuals and families in our community. Inventory is expected to include clothing, household goods, personal care items, paper goods, small appliances, toys, bedding, seasonal items, Amazon general merchandise, and more. Inventory will vary, so specific items cannot be guaranteed.

Everything is FREE—there is no cost to receive. Distribution begins at 12 PM and will continue while supplies last. Bags will be provided, and quantity limits may apply to certain items so that we can serve as many families as possible.

But this day is about more than what we’re giving away—it’s about how we serve. Our City Cares team is preparing to serve every guest with excellence, compassion, respect, and dignity. We want every person who enters our doors to know: we see you, we value you, and we’re honored to serve you. Come comfortable. Come prepared for a possible wait. Most importantly, come knowing there is a place for you here.

Participants will learn strategies for creating and improving resumes in English, understanding workplace expectations in the United States, and highlighting their skills and experiences effectively when applying for jobs.
