Embrace AI...Adapt or be left behind. SMART Property Management uses AppFolio property management software that basically runs our entire business. AppFolio has a connector in Anthropic's Claude. Looking forward to learning how this technology can help our business. It will never replace the boots on the ground and human interaction that differentiates us from our competitors though.

On this day 4 years ago, Debbie asked Bob if he was serious about starting a property management company. Bob's (always optimistic) response was "how hard can it be"? 🤷🏻‍♂️
Starting from scratch with zero "doors" and now managing 245 "doors" (mostly single family homes). Together they've built a company organically only relying on word of mouth and referrals. Adding on 4 full time property managers along the way, who have small portfolios so that they can manage properties with Debbie's vision by doing EVERYTHING so when an owner has a question their property manager has all the answers.

Back to back years of Golden Chamber of Commerce's Ambassador of the year!

For the second year in a row, Bob Varnum (Smart Property Management ) has been recognized as the Golden Chamber Ambassador of the Year! He is involved with the Chamber on many levels, including beginning an industry-specific leads group within the Chamber and being a beacon for new members. He was recognized by his peers for his leadership, sense of humor, and dedication to the Chamber. Congratulations to Bob!
