SOLD!
This one was a little different, and a deal I’m especially grateful to have been a part of.
This was an off-market sale between two good friends, and it ended up being a great situation for both the buyer and seller.
The seller moved to Chicago about four years ago and had been renting the home to friends during that time. When he decided it was time to sell and move on from the property, one of the friends living in the home jumped at the opportunity and was very interested in purchasing it.
What made this transaction unique was that the buyer and seller handled all of the negotiating themselves. My role was to act as the facilitator for both parties, providing market information, working behind the scenes with my team to coordinate the transaction, helping navigate the process, keeping everything moving forward, and making sure the transaction went as smoothly as possible from start to finish.
It’s always rewarding when a transaction comes together in a way that genuinely works for both sides. Even better when it involves two good friends.
