Our focus is almost completely absorbed by legal nursing homes and long-term care facilities. These residences have their own huge issues, like staffing shortages, hidden abuse, and neglect. But it’s stories like the one we saw recently that make us turn our attention to the potential of illegal facilities and the massive damage they can inflict on California’s senior citizens.
