The Ryan Health Care Bill puts retirement at risk by making massive cuts to Medicare and Medicaid.

Speaker Ryan and House Republicans want to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, and replace it with a bill that gives millions in tax breaks to the rich. They want to pay for those tax breaks by taxing your benefits and stealing Medicare and Medicaid funds.

We need you to take action to stop this bill by calling your congressional representative at (866) 829-3298 and saying vote NO on Ryan’s health care plan.

All Americans, including hardworking UAW members and their families, have paid into Medicare their entire careers. This bill weakens Medicare for current and future retirees. It also takes money away from Medicaid’s long-term care program, which helps one out of seven retirees and pays for two out of three seniors’ nursing home care. Every middle-class family that ever needs this care will be harmed if Medicaid funding is slashed.

Please call (866) 829-3298 and tell your representative to vote against the Ryan Health Care Bill.

We are ready to vote on management's latest proposal, but they refuse to confirm important details. It makes no sense for PULSE members to vote on something when we don't even know what that something is! We're not looking for honks today, just a reply or callback. Come on, management!

Management's latest offer is nothing new. The same old pay scale that doesn't even keep up with inflation. We think they can do better for us, our clients, and the thousands that are impacted by our members' work.

Management's top earners each makes three and a half times the average salary of our paralegals and support staff. Yet two months ago they gave themselves a raise, and they still claim there is no striking wage gap. We're hitting the pavement now while our bargaining team works inside to close the gap. Tonight we head back to the bargaining table to demand that management pay us what we deserve. While they refuse to show us even basic respect, we are lucky to receive it from our clients every day. A cherished client sent this note to a PULSE member last week. Translation: "I know that the work you do is not easy and that is precisely what makes it so worthy of recognition. Thank you for all your support, and also for your beautiful words of encouragement that make me stronger."

Over just two years, management awarded its highest two earners a raise of nearly 10 percent. We're asking for less than half that for everybody else. Just hours before we were planning to meet management at the bargaining table tonight, they cancelled. They say there is no wage gap, while giving themselves a raise. We demand more respectful leadership and a more equal workplace.

It's been over a week, and management still refuses to meet us at the table. Today we sent a letter demanding continued bargaining in good faith. Will management stand with PULSE in supporting a workplace that upholds dignity for all by treating us with fairness and respect? We will settle for nothing less.

NLSLA management gave themselves a raise last month. Because they are refusing to set our next bargaining date, everybody else has to wait. The fight for a fair contract will go on so we can continue to pursue justice for our clients.
