It's important before you decide on buying, to talk to your agent (me) about the market trends and stats.

For instance, now in Washington State here's what you want to know:

We are considered to be in a Seller's Market. That means the buyer demand exceeds available listings right now. Most homes are going off market quickly.

Property values are still climbing. Over the next year, homes in Washington are expected to appreciate by 8.9%.

Mortgage rates are very low. In Washington, mortgage rates average 2.44% for a 15-year mortgage and 2.98% for a 30-year mortgage.

Home Buying Tip: It's not about the price.

When buying a luxury property, it can be tempting to invest in the best property at the most competitive price to get the highest return on your investestment.

Instead, focus on the VALUE of the location, acreage, and amenities.

And you can't really put a price on happiness... meaning, if you love it then you should consider buying it. Period.
