Attorney Dave Erhard is proud to have partnered with fellow attorneys Sean Owen, Amy Owen, and Brandon O’Donnell to create a series of continuing legal education presentations exploring the intersection of criminal law and family law.

The first presentation in the series took place on September 29, 2026, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Topics included the nature and use of the online criminal docketing system, Protection from Abuse (PFA) proceedings, and more.

Proud to share that Steve Rice Law partner Dave Erhard was invited to speak at the Franklin County Bench Bar Conference at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort! ⚖️

Dave presented to fellow attorneys and county judges on character evidence at trial under Pennsylvania Rule of Evidence 405, which governs how character may be proven in court. It’s a nuanced area of trial practice that can shape the outcome of a case, and we’re grateful Dave had the chance to share his insight with the local bench and bar.

Attorney Dave Erhard will presenting two continuing legal education courses to his friends and colleagues across Franklin County and Cumberland County in the month of September. For Franklin County he’ll be presenting at the annual bench bar conference at Bedford Springs, addressing the benefits and challenges of presenting character witnesses at trial. In Cumberland County, where Attorney Erhard serves as Co-Chair of the criminal law section, he will talk about the intersection of criminal and family law practice with fellow Cumberland County Bar Association members and stellar attorneys Sean Owen, Brandon O’Donnell, and Amy Owen.
