To Our Valued Clients and Colleagues,
We just wanted to give you an update on how our office is currently handling the issues related to COVID-19. I will say that information is constantly changing and we are attempting to keep up with it as best we can. As we receive new information, we will alter our procedures accordingly. Currently we feel that we are doing what the CDC recommends. So, the current status of our office is as follows:
• We are open and fully staffed! We are not working from home at this point though we are making arrangements to do so should the need arise.
• We are wiping down the conference room table, chairs and pens after each closing.
• Each bathroom is stocked with hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes.
• We are attempting “social distancing” as best we can given the typical closing environment. This includes:
o No handshaking/No hugging (but we still like you all!)
o We will attempt a 6 foot buffer with our clients
o We will offer email closing packages as opposed to paper copies (one less thing touched by multiple people)
o We will attempt to be timely in appointments to keep down wait time
• We have been in contact with the Shelby County Register’s Office and we should not experience a disruption in service as we “e-file” and we have been told that e-filings will continue, uninterrupted.
It goes without saying that these are truly unprecedented times we are experiencing. We have met with our staff to discuss the foregoing procedures and we are committed to providing each of you with the highest level of service possible considering the environment in which we are working. We are also committed to the safety and well-being of each of you and our mutual clients. Should you have any concerns or questions or if there is any way we can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call or email. If you have a client with specific needs, please call us so that we can make the necessary accommodations. We look forward to working with each of you as we persevere through this challenging time and I’m sure we all look forward to a return to normalcy. Please be safe!
