Tough day at the office

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we share the loss of our colleague and dear friend Joni Owen Fussnecker.
For the past 24 years we have worked side by side tackling the problems of the world. Mere words could never express what she brought to our lives, the lives of our families, friends and clients.

This is awful. Wait times for a hearing have continued to increase and now we are holding hearings over the phone where and ALJ never even sees the claimant

Appeals backlog means people can wait years for their cases to be heard. By then, it's often too late.
