PLEASE DO NOT come into or onto the old Mid State Marina building until it is open for business. This evening someone came in while we had people doing work asking about a piece of equipment that was apparently being repaired when the business was open 6 years ago??? Yes, Thanksgiving night someone wants to inquire about it 6 years after the business closed. Honestly, we have people coming in all of the time. The building is under construction and is not open. I even pulled in one day and people had a pickup truck and trailer loading up our stuff we had outside. We will announce when the building is open to the public. If you previously did business with Mid State Marina, we know nothing about it, Thank you.

Thanksgiving Lunch will be at Gassaway Fitness Center tomorrow from 12-2, first come first serve. We will have enough food for approximately 40 people, so get there early. It will be inside the fitness center. You can enter through the laundromat or the fitness center. If you are a First Responder and have to work be sure to stop by, or if you just have no other Thanksgiving plans feel free to stop by, ALL are welcome. We will be serving Turkey, Brisket, Sausage, Cowboy Beans, Potatoe Salad, Mac & Cheese, assorted deserts and drinks. Happy Thanksgiving!! Food will be catered by Trevor Goff and the BBQ Wagon!

Many have asked what we are doing with the old Mid State Marina building. To answer those questions, we had to wait on better weather to replace the roof. The roof is being replaced and work started today. We have already started gutting the inside. Once the roof is on and the inside is ready, we will be sectioning off spaces for rent. our plan/goal is turning this huge building into a mini mall. We have no idea how long this will take as this is a huge undertaking. We understand that commercial real estate/business space can be costly and we intend to offer affordable spaces for retail shops or businesses or offices. We also plan on having a large room that can be used as an event center, and IF the space allows it could also be used for indoor pickleball, batting cage etc. or other activities. If you own a small retail shop or have always wanted to open a business but could not find a prime location let us know we could potentially make your section to your specifications before construction starts. We have no idea of cost so please don't ask but like what was said we intend to be affordable so that small business can thrive. We anticipate 8-10 spaces, again it will depend on how everything works out.

To answer questions about the parts from the previous Honda and other dealerships we acquired we plan on selling those online beginning in May. We may also be posting them on FB marketplace. This truly a huge endeavor and we anticipate it will not go quickly.
