Do you have a peeling or faded license plate on your vehicle? You can get it replaced by having a MV-46 filled out by your inspection mechanic. The state of PA will send you a replacement free of charge.

Penndot has released a driver and vehicle service update.

Expiration dates for driver licenses, I'd cards and learners permits that are set to expire from March 16th 2020 through July 31st 2020 will now be extended until July 31st 2020.

Camera cards are also extended until July 31st 2020 deadline.

As many of you may know, Somerset county was not lifted from the stay at home order.

Penndot has also extend deadlines until June 30th, the extension includes PA drivers license, ID cards, registrations, and drivers permits that are set to expire. Vehicle title transfers currently still have a May 8th suspension, however this could change weekly depending upon governor Wolf’s discretion.

This evening Governor Tom Wolf extended PA stay at home order until May 8th, at this time only online vehicle transfers can be done by car dealers if they are capable. I know many of you are waiting to get your titles transferred from pravite sales made/purchased. These transfers are still suspended at this time.

Due to the changes of operation due to COVID-19, The Pa Dept of Transportation has closed several offices. If you have had a vehicle title transferred, registration renewal or filed for lost titles etc with PennDOT and have not yet received your documents, please don't worry.

Once PennDOT returns to regular operation you will receive your documents however, there will be a delay in document returns due to the amount of volume they will be receiving.
