While we here at Nelson & Associates are an essential service per the Governor’s “shelter in place” order the health and safety of both our staff and our clients is our top priority. Because of that, most of our staff is working from home until the order is lifted.

We are absolutely available via telephone, email and fax, as well as Facebook messenger! We encourage you to reach out if you have the need for our services! If we cannot answer your question immediately, we will schedule a telephone conference with either Attorney Elisa Nelson or Attorney Pamela Wilcox!

Our phone lines are connected to us, and so is our email so please utilize those avenues! If we do not immediately answer, please leave a voicemail, and we will get right back to you.

If it is necessary to be in the office, we will let you know, and make arrangements to do so. We are taking all necessary precautions - cleaning, and sanitizing constantly!

In an effort to do our part to ensure the health and safety of our clients and our staff, we will be going to a modified consultation format wherein all consultations possible will be conducted via telephone conference. We are doing what we can to reduce your risk in traveling to any locations that are not absolutely mandatory. We remain ever vigilant in working on all of your cases, and will be available for phone consultations at the times you were previously set to see us in the office.

If you think that you need a face to face meeting, please do not hesitate to reach out!! We will never be angry or upset with questions or concerns!

Additionally, we are working on setting up accounts through various video conferencing sites that would enable face to face contact should this situation continue further into the future.

Good morning everyone!

With the current health crisis in our country and the world, most courts have issued Administrative Orders continuing all non-emergent cases to a few months from now.

For us, this includes both the 9th and 14th Circuits so far, which covers the majority our our clients.

Not only have those local circuits been continued, but federal Bankruptcy proceedings have been postponed as well.

We will continue to work diligently on your cases, and are exploring options for resolution that do not include court. Please be patient with us as we learn to navigate this new territory as well. We will be in contact with everyone that has an upcoming court hearing, and we will have conversations about potential resolutions and alternative solutions as soon as we can!!
