Doodle Mom I am a Florida native and an avid Gator fan!

In 1989, I relocated to Gainesville from Vero Beach to attend the University of Florida, where I obtained my BS in Business Administration. I later followed my passion for creativity and design and attended Santa Fe College where I received my AS in Graphic Design Technology. I started my real estate career at the age of 20 as a part-time leasing agent. By the age of 26, I had my real estate Broke

r's license. I have rounded out my real estate career as a Realtor, a leasing professional, and a property manager. I have extensive knowledge about both the student and professional markets. I love working with both buyers and sellers! I consider myself a perfectionist and have a careful eye for detail which comes as an asset to my clients. I have a passion for pleasing and I'm a problem solver by nature. I'm always looking for a way to make things better, whether it’s finding a creative way to get an offer accepted, an inexpensive way to declutter and stage a home, or a renovation to transform a house into the perfect home. Give me a challenge and I'll do what it takes to solve the problem. I'm a technology nerd by nature and love to learn. When I took a break from real estate in 2001, I pursued my creative career as a graphic designer. I have produced materials for The University of Florida, Santa Fe College, Marvel Comics, Group 5 Advertising, Cox Communications, CAPT, Florida Turf Digest, Naomi Whittle, and many other local businesses. I also believe in giving back to my community by supporting local charities like Habitat for Humanity, ReBuild Alachua, Family Promise and The Child Advocacy Center, and I am proud to be a founding member of the GACAR Giving Circle. New to the idea of being an empty nester, I'm still trying to find a hobby. When I'm not selling real estate, you'll find me working in the yard, lounging by the pool with my water obsessed Goldendoodle, or entertaining friends with my husband of 30+ years! I have a true passion for helping people, and there is no greater satisfaction than helping my clients with one of the biggest financial decisions they will make in their lifetime...buying or selling their home.

Everyone's been watching mortgage rates. But there's another trend buyers shouldn't overlook...

Every fall, the housing market tends to shift.

More homes hit the market. Asking prices often soften. And sellers are usually more willing to negotiate.

Those seasonal changes happen almost every year – and they can make buying a little easier.

Let's talk about whether those same trends are showing up in our local market – and what it means for you.

Did you know that September is National Honey Month? Here’s a great recipe to try!

Ingredients:
• 4 packages biscuit dough
• 2 c. light or dark brown sugar
• 1½ c. butter, melted
• 2 tbsp. honey
• ½ c. cinnamon sugar mixture
• Walnuts, if desired

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, and grease a Bundt pan with nonstick spray.
2. Cut each biscuit into quarters, and then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Layer the pieces into the greased pan, making sure they are evenly distributed.
3. In a saucepan, melt together the brown sugar, butter, and honey. Continue to stir until a slightly runny glaze forms, and quickly pour over the biscuit pieces.
4. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes. Carefully place a large plate or serving tray over the pan, and flip over the Bundt pan. Pull the pan away from the bread ring carefully, avoiding the hot glaze. Top with walnuts, if desired.

Most people think a newly built home costs more than an existing one. But right now, that’s actually backwards.
