🛒 Would a New Grocery Store Make You More Interested in a Neighborhood?
DFW, here's a question for you! 😊

When you're choosing a neighborhood, how much does having your favorite grocery store nearby matter?

Here's some local news worth watching! On October 2, H-E-B's official announcement revealed plans for a new store in southwest Fort Worth, near Chisholm Trail Parkway and Oakmont Boulevard. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027, with the store planned to open in late 2028. H-E-B Newsroom

Why does this matter for real estate? Neighborhoods continue to grow, and nearby shopping, restaurants, parks, and everyday conveniences can make a difference when choosing where to live.

My tip: If you're considering a home in a developing area, look at what's available today​ and not just what​ is promised for the future.

Would you choose a brand-new home if the builder offered you thousands of dollars in incentives?

What does this mean for you?

🏡 Buyers: Don't overlook new construction when comparing your options.

🔑 Sellers: Buyers may be comparing your home with builder incentives, so pricing and presentation matter.

💡 My tip: Look beyond the advertised deal. Compare the total monthly payment, property taxes, HOA fees, closing costs, and financing terms. Some promotional rates can change after an introductory period.
