🏡 Real Estate Education Beyond the Transaction

This summer, we had the opportunity to bring together physicians, healthcare professionals, and industry partners for our Summer Real Estate Education Series.

We talked about what is happening in the DFW real estate market, residential opportunities, medical office space, leasing vs. buying, insurance considerations, and how real estate can fit into a physician’s bigger financial and professional picture.

I am excited to officially share that I have earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation through the National Association of REALTORS®! 🏡🎉

This designation reflects specialized training and practical experience focused on representing homebuyers throughout the purchasing process. Buying a home can feel overwhelming, especially for first-time buyers, and I want my clients to feel informed, protected, and confident from the first conversation through closing.

Continuing my education is one more way I can provide better guidance and stronger representation to every buyer I serve.

The newest housing numbers are in, and the DFW market continues to cool.

In July 2026, the Metroplex recorded 8,096 closed home sales, a decrease of 8.6% compared with July 2025.

Here is a closer look:

📍 Collin County
• Median price: $460,000, down 4.1%
• Closed sales: Down 8.7%
• Inventory: 4.8 months
• Average days on market: 54

📍 Dallas County
• Median price: $365,000, down 2.9%
• Closed sales: Down 7.8%
• Inventory: 4.7 months
• Average days on market: 49

What does this mean?

Buyers may have more time, more choices, and better negotiating opportunities. Sellers can still successfully sell, but accurate pricing, preparation, and presentation matter more than ever.

This is not necessarily a bad market. It is simply a different market, and local neighborhood data will always tell a better story than national headlines.

A little kindness can mean more than anyone realizes. 💜

Today at Rollertown, I casually mentioned that my birthday is coming up on Wednesday. Before the end of my shift, my coworkers had coordinated the sweetest surprise with beautiful purple flowers and the most amazing chocolate cake.

I truly had no idea, and yes, I cried! 🥹 We are all going through something, and sometimes a small glimpse of love, hope, or happiness can change your entire day. This was one of those moments for me.

I feel so blessed to be part of the Rollertown family. Thank you for making me feel so loved and celebrated! 💐🎂💜

Some victories are big. Others are watching your foster fail finally figure out a KONG. 😂🐾

Matcha may have started as “just a foster,” but she’s been keeping us laughing ever since. Seeing her confidence grow and watching her discover new things is one of my favorite parts of this journey.

🚨 Would you buy a foreclosed home if it meant saving tens of thousands of dollars?

Sounds like an easy “yes,” right?

Not so fast…

Some foreclosures are incredible opportunities. Others can come with unexpected repairs, title issues, financing challenges, or hidden costs that catch buyers off guard.

That’s why understanding the process before you start shopping is so important.
