🚨 Breaking News: BOI Filing Now Required 🚨

As of December 23, 2024, the injunction halting Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) filings has been lifted. All reporting entities must now comply with the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA).

📅 Key Deadlines:

Entities formed before Jan 1, 2024: File by Jan 13, 2025.
Entities formed in 2024: Temporary 90-day filing rule applies.
Entities formed Jan 1, 2025, and later: File within 30 days of formation.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday granted a Justice Department motion to lift an injunction imposed by a district court ruling. Hours later, FinCEN announced, in light of the court decision, that the Jan. 1, 2025, reporting deadline was extended to Jan. 13 for most reporting companies.
