Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate Steve Spangler's retirement from IAP. Steve has been a tremendous asset to IAP owners fertilizer business and leaves behind quite a legacy! Part of that legacy is his giving heart and desire to promote the importance of agriculture.

To honor Steve, IAP partnered with California Fertilizer Foundation for the 2024 annual fundraiser dinner. Members of the agricultural industry were asked to contribute to the foundations garden grant program in honor of Steve. The response was outstanding! Thank you Steve for your contributions to agricultural and your dedication to IAP owners. You will be missed in the office but we know we'll see you around and catch up on our "Steve" stories as often as possible.

Congratulations to Randall Varnell with Wheeler Brothers Grain Co.. We love celebrating our IAP owner accomplishments! Randal, we are happy to have you as a part of the IAP family!

Congratulations to Randall Varnell the 2023 Oklahoma Certified Crop Adviser of the Year. This year's recipient has twenty plus years of crop advising experience and has been a trusted adviser since 2002. He has devoted his life to agriculture, he has promoted the canola industry in Oklahoma and has assisted chemical manufacturers in developing products for Oklahoma. Randall is the Manager at Wheeler Brothers Grain Company, Kingfisher, and assists producers with all their decisions regarding crop inputs and management. He has become a trusted source within Wheeler Brothers and across Oklahoma. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Oklahoma Agribusiness Retailers Association as well as serving on the Board of Ducks Unlimited. Randall has also been presented the 2012 and 2013 National Corn Growers Association Corn Yield award. Originally from Sayre, Oklahoma, Randall spent most of his childhood in Ford, Kansas. He is a graduate of Dodge City Community College and Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He and his wife, Tara, have four children, Zaine, Callie, Ayden and Livia. It’s summer time and for IAP that means our annual Plant Operators meeting is underway! This year IAP owner, Landus is hosting our meeting location in Des Moines, Iowa. IAP owner plant managers from all over the United States are networking with safety compliance, equipment companies and each other on the what works and doesn’t work well for their companies.

IAP loves the opportunity to network owner employees and give them personalized connections to better each owner’s business.

The IAP staff have big hearts and wanted to help our community, much like our owner companies do. They spent the end of the day today cooking and serving dinner for families staying at Ronald McDonald House at Valley Children's Hospital.

IAP held the annual Innovation Forum this week in Scottsdale, AZ. The purpose is to review the latest in fertilizer biotechnology. This forum provides great opportunity for IAP owners and participants to explore these technologies and evaluate company offerings.

We were honored with the opportunity to have our Director present information about Crop Excellence® products and technology at the recent Agribusiness Professionals - IAP Innovation Forum in Scottsdale, AZ. Thank you Integrated Agribusiness Professionals - IAP!
