Life is about people - in the opening photo is my friend Rich Gigantino, owner of Freehold Carpentry. We met 30+ years ago because I put my business card on a bagel shop bulletin board. That led to 30 years of friendship and closings and some awesome renovations. Like the T-Shirt says…Life is Good.

An interesting discussion about amortization schedules. The magic of math…

Here is a brief discussion about amortization schedules. As they say, “back in the day” … to figure out a mortgage payment you would look in an amortization booklet. The booklet would specify interest rate, the length of time and a selected loan about and from there, you could figure out principal and interest for a loan, it did involve a little math here and there. On the one hand It may be a little boring. Quite frankly, I find it a lot of fun …. We might say it’s the magic of math and we know I love magic.
