Emaly has the rare advantage and distinction of having worked in the real estate industry for a number of years beginning when she was 20 years old. She quickly grasped the overall process having been an underwriter, loan fund

er, loan officer, assistant branch manager, and Realtor in both Florida and Texas. Being an only child of itinerant Army parents, she has lived in Georgia, Missouri, Texas, Virginia, Hawaii and Germany. The constant upheaval every few years into uncharted territory gave her the opportunity to explore a variety of communities, be exposed to different cultures, make lifelong friends and above all, understand the significance of moving out of a home and creating a new one. Emaly’s grandparents moved to Fredericksburg in 1985, which became the ‘go-to’ destination for weekend trips and summer vacations. In 2008, the town became her home. Emaly is serving / has served her community in the following leadership roles:
