'Twas the Night of Small Business Saturday

'Twas the night before Small Business Saturday, when through every street,
Local shops were aglow, looking festive and neat;
Their windows were dressed in holiday flair,
Inviting all folks, their wares to share.

The children, all snug in their beds, dreamed away,
While parents planned routes for the shopping day;
With a list in my hand, and excitement anew,
I envisioned the treasures these stores would debut.

Outside, the moon cast a silvery light,
Illuminating our town in the quiet night.
Our streets, once quiet, now bustling with life,
As shopkeepers prepared for the morning's strife.

Each storefront, a story of dreams and of toil,
Of long hours, hard work, and loyalty loyal.
Their doors soon would open to crowds warm and merry,
Offering goods from the unique to the extraordinary.

Crafters, bakers, booksellers, and more,
Each entrepreneur with goods galore;
Their hands had created, with love and with care,
Items unique, beyond compare.

In every product, a piece of their heart,
A testament to their artisan's art.
From hand-knit scarves to homemade pies,
Each item a treasure, a delightful surprise.
