Hello all! I posted this once before and ran into a little problem, so I'm going to be more clear this time.

Matthew and I have owned Neverending Stories, The Underground Bookstore for many years and are ready to move on. We have about 700 books (maybe more?) along with shelves, etc.

If YOU can take the books, you can have it all for free. I was given the bookstore for free from Leigh Protivnak, and I'd like to extend the offer to someone else before we consider donating everything.

Here's the clarification - you cannot take the furniture without the books. The books need to be moved first, and we can talk about this, but you cannot take the furniture and leave us the books. Some of those shelves were $1K apiece (for good reason - theyre beautiful).

We are moving from our space, so you'd have to have a space of your own. Paramount is the idea that within the next 2 months, you'd be able to move the books and all the other pretty things. There are only a few things I (and some other special people) would like to keep, so the rest is yours.

Otherwise we'll just have a closeout sale and sell everything off piecemeal.

My hope is that someone will want to continue the tradition of an independent bookstore in Franklin.
