A day in the life: started with motion to revoke a DWI probation. Managed to keep my client on probation.

Lunchtime, including teaching CLE on statutory defenses to the Parker County Bar Association. A District Court, Judge and a felony prosecutor both said they learned things that they didn’t previously know.

That was followed by podcast work. We interviewed an attorney from Louisiana and it makes for a great episode.

Primary Cases: Drug or alcohol related. Even if it is not a drug or alcohol crime, that is a factor in 95% of criminal cases. Add jealousy or abuse and you have covered all of my caseload. If we could solve addiction, we could close up shop. ⚖️

Free Time Activities: Running, singing, playing Disney Emoji Blitz on my phone 🏃‍♂️🎤📱

Favorite Food: Mexican or a good steak. But let's be honest, I like to eat. So food in most forms or fashions. 🌮🥩😋

Way to Relax: Running, singing, playing Disney Emoji Blitz, or going to the family ranch 🏃‍♂️🎶📱🤠🌄

Place to Travel: In State - the Ranch outside of Junction. Or the Riviera Maya with my wife. 🌅🤠🏝️❤️

Dream Car: One that is paid for and still has years of life left in it. 🚗💸🙌

Advice you wish you knew starting out as a lawyer: Your client is not a reflection on you as a person; how you treat your client is a reflection on you as a person. ⚖️💙
