Texas has banned Delta-8 THC following a state Supreme Court ruling, while low-dose Delta-9 THC remains legal. Specifically, Delta-8 is classified as a Schedule I controlled substance, whereas Delta-9 edibles and beverages containing 0.3% or less THC by dry weight are fully legal at the State and Federal level.
Delta 9 is the "feel good" part of w**d. Smoke a joint with friends, that's 9. The w**d you know from your teenage years? Yeah, that was 9.
Go into a head shop, in TX, and buy pre-rolls...they look just like regular green leafy? That has been Delta 8....though that stopped yesterday...it can now be a State Jail Felony 180 days to 2 years in jail, with up to a $10,000 fine.
Without getting all chemistry professor on you...just imagine 8 and 9 are 2 different branches off a w**d plant. The du*****es in Austin just decided one is totally illegal...the 8. 8 will generally not give you the euphoria like when you hit delta 9, but I have to say some delta 8 products gave me a different type of head buzz.
THC delta 9...the good stuff, is only legal if less than 0.03 percent, read package...translation, it does nothing. Our Texas idiots had to leave that because it is Federal law.
THC Delta 9, less than 0.03, lotion will NOT give you euphoria or the urge to eat an entire bag of Doritos....it may help your sciatica pain
😩😩🤣.
STUPID LEGISLATION.
Bottom Line
My clients who have smoked illegal w**d will continue to do so...NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
The smoke shops will close or lose a out 50% of their revenue.
Austin screwing over small businesses.
THIS LAW HAS MADE YOUR MEEMAW A CRIMINAL...
She may be calling you this week to buy an 1/8 of the green leafy.
