My ultimate goal is not only to help people, but also to show them that not all attorneys are the bad or greedy people they always hear about. I treat clients the way they should be treated, like a person, not just a number or a file. The reality of it is, when someone calls me, they are injured, stressed, and likely just going through a bad time. Between myself and my staff, we do everything we c
an to take that stress off the client by taking on the tasks for them. One of the biggest complaints in the legal world is clients not being able to get ahold of their attorney, and basically being left in the dark. To eliminate this, I give every one of my clients (over 150) my personal cell phone number. In doing so, not only does the client have to ability to get ahold of me after hours if there is an emergency, or something important that has come up, but it also gives them the ability to text me throughout the day, because I know that most of my clients are just as busy as me, and a simply text can make things a lot easier. In addition to being accessible and actually client friendly (not just saying it, but actually proving it), I have a proven record of getting the maximum value of each and every case. This is done not only through developing creative techniques that no other attorney employs, but also by actually being passionate about my clients. Through dealing directly with my clients, talking with them often, and working the case from day one until close (as opposed to most firms where the paralegal works the case and the attorney doesn't step in until negotiations), I always develop a relationship with my client that fuels my passion to fight for them. In the sense that I treat client like people as opposed to a number or a file, I also fight for my clients like people, people that I've gotten to know, and that I've gone through the entire process with and witnessed everything they've dealt with and gone through. I genuinely feel that I'm lucky that God led me to a profession where I'm not simply making a living, but where I'm actually getting to change people's lives and help make a bad situation have the best possible outcome.
