Everyone at Barrow Law is enjoying the day off, but it is important to remember the original purpose of Memorial Day. It is a time where, as Abraham Lincoln said, we honor those who gave "the last full measure of devotion" to their country. We honor and pray for those families that are grieving the loss of loved ones in the conflict with Iran and all who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. And to further quote Linclon, we "highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain..."
David Benjamin Barrow (35th Div., 320th Infantry, K Company) was KIA on August 11, 1944 near Mortain, France. It was known as the Battle of 314 and there is a link in the comments about the battle.
We Remember.
