During this period of the pandemic, many people are having difficulty exercising their parenting time with their minor children. The Indiana Supreme Court has ruled that existing court orders regarding custody and parenting time shall remain in place and be followed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents may temporarily agree in writing to modify their order, but if the parties cannot reach a temporary agreement, any party may file an emergency petition to modify the existing order.
