Kevin's journey reflects the very values that guide our practice. As an immigrant who came to the United States seeking asylum, Kevin understands firsthand the challenges many of our clients face. Through hard work, perseverance, and a deep commitment to serving others, he earned his law degree with honors and became licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Throughout his legal education and career, Kevin has dedicated hundreds of hours to advocating for immigrants, vulnerable communities, and access to justice. His personal experience, legal training, and ability to serve clients in both English and Spanish make him a tremendous asset to our firm and the communities we serve.

The Walton Law Group is pleased to announce that Attorney Gilberto de Jesús has joined our firm.

Gil is from New York City and received his B.A. from Columbia University and J.D. from George Washington University.

He worked as an attorney at the Federal Communications Commission. He served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia and as a trial attorney in the Office of International Affairs in the United States Department of Justice. Gil was a prosecutor in the homicide unit in the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C.

He was named by Governor Parris Glendening of Maryland to serve as Secretary of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, becoming the state's first Hispanic Cabinet secretary. Gil also served as a consultant for the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He worked for U.S. Senator Benjamin Cardin, where he directed the Senator's work on the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Before coming to WLG, he last served as the senior legal advisor to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and as the acting director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization at the United States Department of Transportation.

Gil has assumed responsibility as the chief litigator for WLG, as well as for other cases.

Ronnie brings more than 30 years of experience in employment law, EEO, and civil rights, including senior leadership at the Department of Homeland Security. She has worked on some of the most complex workforce and policy issues in government, supporting over 229,000 employees nationwide.

What I value most about Ronnie is her ability to take complicated challenges and turn them into practical, real-world solutions that actually work.

At Walton Law Group, she’ll be focusing on employment law, workplace issues, civil rights, and helping organizations build strong, effective, and compliant workplaces.
