This one is a 70 home ground-up development in Haines City, working with New York investors who believe in Central Florida infill and steady housing demand. Still early, still a lot of work ahead, but progress is progress.

I’m heartbroken to have recently received the news of the passing of a dear friend, NY legend Rafael Pineda.

I had the honor of working alongside Rafael during my time at Channel 41 in the late 80’s. Rafael was a great man. We shared some fun times together away from the station. He was a great teacher, and he truly left his mark on everyone around him. His guidance, generosity, and passion for this craft shaped many in ways that lasted far beyond the studio.

Rest in peace, Rafa. You will always be remembered and deeply missed.
