A Pensacola man who served as a volunteer athletics coach at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School has been sentenced to seven years in prison in a child sexual abuse case involving a minor boy.

According to reports, Bryan Anthony Parker pleaded no contest to charges of lewd or lascivious molestation and promoting the sexual activity of a victim under the age of 16.

A former teacher and football coach at St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton is facing federal charges after investigators accused him of possessing child sexual abuse material and engaging in inappropriate online communications involving minors.

According to authorities, the investigation uncovered allegations that included discussions about students and efforts to obtain explicit images of minors. St. Andrew’s School has terminated the teacher’s employment and says it is cooperating with law enforcement.

An Orlando nurse has been arrested following allegations that he sexually assaulted a hospitalized patient while working at AdventHealth Orlando.

According to reports, Abedinecho Katue is accused of sexually battering a physically incapacitated amputee patient and later administering morphine despite her objections. Investigators also reportedly faced delays in obtaining records and witness cooperation during the investigation.
