Wow! What a wild ride it has been. I too was the office notary for almost 20 years. Trust me, it's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it was my introduction to international document services, specifically state and federal level apostilles and authentications. Lucky me!

Little did I know, when I considered resigning my commission at the end of 2019, when the company closed its regional corporate office of the Americas, here in Hollywood, Florida, that soon we would we be faced with a global pandemic that changed how we do what we do, with the introduction of Remote Online Notarization (RON), which was permanently authorized under state law on January 1, 2020, following the passage of House Bill 409 in 2019. Lucky me again! Talk about being in the right place at the right time! TRUEBLUE Signing Services, Inc. was born in August 2020 and will celebrate its 7th anniversary over the summer.

There are so many ways we can use our notary commission to grow a small business, if that is your goal. We offer mobile and online notary services and expedited, international document services to individuals and law firms around the world. Happy customers are one of the best marketing tools!

If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this:
BE A GOOD NOTARY FIRST!

Dedicate time to know and understanding your states' laws as they pertain to Notaries Public. Florida has two parts,

I could not have been more excited or proud to kick-off the 10th anniversary celebration with my friends and the OG Remote Online Notary commissioned by the Commonwealth of Virginia herself, Jacqueline A Phillips.

Being there for each other, in friendship, with our work, and while supporting the notary community is what we do. We expect nothing in return. The personal and professional benefits of creating and engaging with a nationwide network of likeminded professionals is so rewarding. I am honored and grateful to all, thanks again for the invitation.

It was an honor and privilege to spend the weekend with my dear friends and fellow NNA Notary Ambassadors® in November.

As an NNA Ambassador, we believe in the importance of being of service in our community and beyond. Furthermore, I have always felt strongly that we must maintain a commitment to being a resource and supporting each other, as Notaries Public, along the way.

Goal #1 for 2026 is in the books! What a nice way to start the year.

It was quite a process but the TRUEBLUE group of companies is now officially certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) which means we are certified as a vendor for the entire Broward County Public School system, for our Online Notary Services, Apostille Services and Mobile LIVESCAN SERVICES! In compliance with new Florida law, effective July 1st, 2025, the following deadlines are quickly approaching:

PHYSICAL THERAPISTS ⬇️
You should have received an email from the FL Department of Health at the end of August reminding you that your license expires November 30th, 2025.

‼️To allow adequate processing time, your fingerprints must be collected no later than 11/15/ 2025. ⏳

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS ⬇️
You should have received an email from the FL Department of Health at the end of September, reminding you that your license expires December 31st, 2025

New Florida Law Requires Fingerprinting for License Renewal, effective July 1, 2025.

If you are a health care professional in Florida, a new law could impact your next license renewal. House Bill 975, passed during the 2024 Legislative Session, requires most health care practitioners to complete electronic fingerprinting as part of the background screening process.
