🚗✨ Stay Safe This Holiday Season ✨🚗
The holidays are a time for celebration, but they also bring a significant increase in impaired driving. Law enforcement across Colorado steps up patrols this time of year because they know more people are attending parties and family gatherings — and they’re on the lookout for signs of drunk or buzzed driving.
A few important reminders:
• Even a small amount of alcohol can slow reaction time and impair judgment.
• “Buzzed driving” is still considered impaired driving.
• Colorado sees some of its highest DUI arrest numbers between Thanksgiving and New Year’s.
• A DUI can result in license suspension, steep fines, jail time, and long-term consequences.
Make a plan before you celebrate. Use a rideshare, designate a sober driver, or arrange a safe ride home. Your decisions not only protect you but everyone on the road.
If you or a loved one ever find yourselves facing DUI or DUID charges, Cummings and Petrone Law is here to help protect your rights and guide you through the process.
Stay safe, enjoy the season, and celebrate responsibly. 🎄🛑
