⚖️ Orthopedic Malpractice Defense Victory

Cline, Cline & Griffin recently secured a successful outcome for a physician client in an orthopedic malpractice case involving MAKO robotic-assisted treatment and an alleged leg-length discrepancy.

Following two days of trial—and the defense’s impeachment of the plaintiffs’ orthopedic expert concerning a previously undisclosed public licensing reprimand—the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice.

Our client, Dr. Kurdi, shared these words with the CCG team following the result:

💬 “Thank you for your incredible hard work, patience, and perseverance in getting us through this malpractice lawsuit. You made difficult things seem easy. Even though I was begrudging about preparing for this trial, I felt well prepared because of you.
I could not be more grateful, or more proud of the team I had. You chose a path defending doctors, and that is not taken lightly and not taken for granted.”

Congratulations to José Brown, Nancy Chinonis, Tammy, Katherine, and the entire CCG team whose preparation, persistence, and hard work helped bring this matter to a successful conclusion.

At Cline, Cline & Griffin, we are proud to stand beside healthcare professionals when they need experienced and committed legal representation.

Today we pause to remember.

On this Patriot Day, our team honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We're grateful for the courage, service, and sacrifice we remember today. 🇺🇸

⚖️ In the Community

On Tuesday, September 1, Attorney Eric M. Froats volunteered his time at the Genesee County Legal Resource Center, helping local individuals navigate Probate Court matters.

Eric met one-on-one with members of the community to help complete court forms, answer probate-related questions, and provide guidance through what can often be a complicated legal process.

The Genesee County Legal Resource Center provides valuable resources and support to individuals navigating the legal system and recently opened its new office on the second floor of the Genesee County Courthouse.

We’re proud of Eric for giving his time and knowledge to help members of our community access the legal resources they need.
