I remember coming home one day to find our one and only toilet out on the front lawn. “Surprise! We are remodeling the bathroom!” 😳
Now when we rip apart a bathroom, it’s usually in an empty house... and it’s planned. 😉
These days I take home (and land) repairs/upgrades in stride. But that’s because I’ve had lots of practice. 😐 And when my husband feels the need to do something to the bathroom... I just take the kids to an Airbnb.

Are you team dark grout or team light grout?

The most dramatic transformations always seem to be in the kitchen and bathroom. These also happen to be the areas that add the most value to a home. This was (like most of our projects) a collaboration between my husband and myself. I wasn’t sold on the dark grout, but I think it’s growing on me. 😋
