Today, we pause to remember.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, a barbecue, or the unofficial start of summer.

It is a day to honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to this country. The freedoms we enjoy every day were built upon extraordinary sacrifice, courage, and a commitment to something greater than oneself.

Today, we remember those who never made it home.

We remember the families who carry their absence.

We remember that freedom is never free.

From all of us at Zhilo Law, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who served, those we have lost, and the loved ones who continue to carry their legacy forward.

May we honor them not only today, but in how we live, lead, serve others, and show up for our communities every day.

As we step into this new year, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Gratitude for our clients who trust us with their most important moments. Gratitude for our friends, family, and community who walk beside us. Gratitude for the lessons, growth, resilience, and victories that shaped the path behind us.

May 2026 be a year of clarity, courage, abundance, and peace. A year where dreams feel closer, challenges feel lighter, and possibilities feel limitless. A year filled with good health, joy, meaningful connections, abundance, and moments of magic you didn’t even know to wish for.

In honor of 18 months in business, I am joining the World'd Largest Toy Drive!

🎉 Celebrating 18 Months of Zhilo Law LLC and Giving Back This Holiday Season 🎁

Eighteen months ago, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors to Zhilo Law. It was a decision filled with excitement, uncertainty, and a whole lot of “let’s see what’s possible.” Looking back now, I can say with complete gratitude: it’s been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life.

The past year and a half has brought growth, tough lessons, meaningful wins, incredible clients, and a deepening sense of purpose in the work I get to do every day. Entrepreneurship isn’t linear. There are late nights, fears, questions, and breakthroughs. But every challenge has reminded me why I started: to provide integrity-driven, practical legal guidance for business owners and to build a firm that truly serves people.

And in the spirit of that mission, and with the holiday season upon us, I’m honored to share that Zhilo Law is joining my mentor Sean Callagy and Unblinded in the Largest Toy Drive in the World, a beautiful initiative led by Dan Fleyshman.

This year, we want to do more than celebrate a milestone. We want to make a difference.

🎁 Til December 15th, we are collecting toys for children in need, and I’m inviting everyone in my community to join me. I’m happy to pick up donations personally, or you can drop them off at the Zhilo Law office.

If you’ve supported me in any way over these last 18 months, whether by referring a client, offering encouragement, or simply cheering me on, thank you. Your belief means more than you know.

One year ago today, I took a leap into the unknown and started Zhilo Law LLC. With just a credit card in hand, I dove headfirst into building something from scratch. While I was 10 years out of school with experience and clients, as any entrepreneur will tell you, starting your own business is different. No bosses, no paralegals, no assistants, no partners, no help... just me.

It’s been a journey filled with late nights, tears, and moments of intense uncertainty. Every accomplishment I've achieved—from growing into a practice with clients coast-to-coast across multiple states, to hiring teammates, to helping my clients overcome challenges and truly thrive—has been a testament to resilience. These successes are deeply rooted in the struggles and the moments of feeling completely out of my depth.

Throughout this journey, I’ve become more than just an attorney. I’ve had the privilege of becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner, helping clients protect their businesses and being able to provide the resources they need to scale and grow. I've had the opportunity to travel and speak on stages across industries, and to connect with people I never thought I'd meet, let alone serve and do business with. It’s been about building relationships and being an integral part of my clients’ journeys.

To those who doubted me or underestimated what I could achieve, thank you. Your skepticism fueled my determination to prove that no dream is too big and no obstacle too great. And please stay tuned, I have so much more on the horizon.

To anyone who’s on a similar path, remember: it’s okay to do things scared, to cry through the uncertainty, and lean on those you trust. Progress isn’t about perfection; it’s about taking those leaps, breaking some eggs, and knowing that you can clean it up.

I’m deeply grateful to Hashem, my parents, mentors, friends, and everyone who has supported me along the way. Your belief in me has been my anchor.

Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and being a part of client success stories. The best is yet to come, and I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you. Thank you for being part of this incredible year. 💫
