Some kids don’t grow up hating their dad because of what he did.
They grow up hating him because of what they were told.
When a child is only allowed to hear one version of the divorce, one version of the conflict, and one version of who the “bad parent” was, that story can become their reality.
Kids should never be recruited into adult problems.
They deserve the freedom to love both parents without guilt, pressure, or manipulation.
Protect your kids from the conflict, not from the other parent.
