I just have to share this note from a friend I met through this business. She is a single mother with a first-grade son living in Texas. I won't steal any of her thunder:
"When our system updates tonight, my little home-based business will officially be responsible for having protected over 80,000 individuals, families and small businesses with LegalShield, IDShield or both. 😀 Yay! I'm excited about this milestone, and it's one I'm also very proud of.
"Personally, I've enrolled 603 members as of today in my tenure (celebrating 19 years on September 26th). You might think that's not a whole lot, and you're probably right. The math shows I've averaged enrolling 2.6 new members per month on my own. NOT breaking any records here, right? That's okay. I never set out to be #1, or at the top of any list, or ... the best. I just set out to help people get a really great service -- a service that helped me so much when I was introduced to and used it the first time back in 1998.
"It's funny how this business works, though. See, quite a few of the folks I enrolled for our services knew they'd also want to tell people about them, and they decided they wanted their own website to send people to (rather than send them to mine) so they could get the referral fees and commissions. That was fine by me! As all those folks referred our services and got paid, so did I. As a matter of fact, collectively, my team has been paid roughly $16 Million in commissions over the years.... and more than $1 Million of that has gone to my bank account. That's just in overrides, too. Again, do the math, and you figure that's an average of about $55K per year (the first many years weren't that high, the last many years weren't that low), and when you consider that my best year at my last job -- as a bartender -- was $19K, that's pretty cool. Not bad for a work-from-home mom who works 15-20 hours per week, and who hasn't had any other jobs since September 27, 1998.
"Of those 80,000 members who have enrolled over the years, aside from the upfront income my team and I have earned, aside from the residuals we all still continue to earn on those members who continue to pay voluntarily each month (because they believe in and love the value our services offer), my FAVORITE PART has been getting "the calls"; the calls from members who have thanked me -- sometimes in tears -- for helping them learn of our services, helping them understand the benefits with our services, and how our services have made such a big impact on their personal, professional and financial lives. That feels so good.
"We get to do well while doing good for others. I love what I do.
"Again, I've never broken a record or been #1 at anything with , but I'm pleased as punch to know that because I made a decision nearly 19 years ago to partner with this great company ... and because fantastic people I'm grateful to call colleagues, Associates and friends made a decision to join my team ... my "little home based business" has now more than 80,000 people in the USA and Canada.
