I am in service today. This is such a beautiful day it feels like it's 80°.
I'm even wearing my short sleeve shirt and it feels great I think we're finally out of this horrendous winter we all had to deal with for the past few months.

I'm trying to get all my service in today. I don't think I'll be working Monday.
We are all bracing for another nasty northeaster that's going to pile possibly another 12-16 inches of white hell on us... On top of what we already have... Uggh.
Well at least shoveling is a decent workout.

I had to work today...last minute 30 Day NTQ for possession.
Last day of the month to get them served. I was preparing several last night and this morning.
I got them all served this afternoon.
We need this snow to start melting. It makes everyone's lives more difficult. I'm just glad I'm not a mail carrier. 😳🥶

Another busy day of service. DRS... Contempt... Subpoenas...NTQ etc.
Now it's fun with paperwork time. 🙄
I know why they call us Officers, because we spend over 70 % of our time busy doing office work.

Tools of the trade? Paperclips, stapler, ink, printer.😎

I'm finally done for the day. The paperwork can wait until tomorrow or Friday. I'm ending 2025 on a busy note. Serving several last minute NTQ for possession.
Contempt...Several Subpoenas and 4 pending divorce packages.
I've noticed a linear increase of divorce service for me this year. It's not a good trend.
Everyone have a great healthy safe New Year! I hope 2026 is a good one for everyone.

This is NOT legal advice. This is my professional opinion and MGL
When accepting any Security Deposit, place it in it's own separate interest bank account. This is NOT your money, do not just throw it in your saving/checking account! This is the tenant's money separate from the 1st. / Last months rent you may receive.

You must give the tenant a copy of the bank receipt with the account number / bank / and the amount of the Security Deposit.
You must also give the tenant any interest earned. If you fail to adhere to these laws and this gets before the Judge. The Judge can award the defendant triple the amount. I've seen this happen 3-4 times over the past several months.

I've been working this detail with this local church parish for appx. 5 years or so.
Everyone who works with the church are very dedicated individuals.

They have always treated me great. It's one of those details an officer really enjoys...be it a Police Officer...Deputy or Constable. They always load me up with that amazing Portuguese food.

So this is one gentleman, of the many good people I've met there. He is always checking if I need anything ... as they all do.

So we got to take a quick selfie together at the end of the night. Thanks again! Another successful event

I was coming back from service in Somerset. I was heading by all the construction at and around the waterfront. I spotted two Massachusetts state troopers on horseback at the Thomas O'Neill area of the waterfront park.
So I pulled over and took a quick picture. I didn't think that they would be on patrol in that area on horseback... really very cool 👍
I know they were on patrol, but I think it serves a dual purpose...with more of a public relations opportunity as well.
