Experienced Immigration Attorney/Criminal Defense Attorney
Rodriguez & Porter was established in 2009 and is located in Fairfield, Ohio. We currently have three attorneys and seven legal assistants. Our attorneys practice removal defense, USCIS petitions, BIA appeals, criminal defense, divorce and domestic relations, juvenile law, contracts and business law. We are seeking to add a full time, experienced immigration attorney and or a criminal defense attorney to our team! A candidate should be admitted as a practicing attorney to the Ohio Supreme Court. A candidate seeking this position should possess the following qualities and abilities: excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of organization and self-motivation, trustworthy, responsible, able to work well in a fast paced, team environment, experience working on EOIR removal cases in addition to USCIS applications, preference will be given for bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speaking.
Responsibilities for this position include: case management , appearance in state, municipal, and federal immigration courts, research and drafting of motions, memoranda, and appeals, client communication, jail visits, delegation of work to legal assistants and paralegals.
