Acorn Estate Planning
23 years ago, The Ryan and Coppola Law Firm was established as a general family law firm. Our attorneys quickly realized that they were more interested in estate planning law than anything else, thus creating Acorn Estate Planning, PLLC. Throughout the years, we realized that in order to do proper estate planning, there needed to be proper financial planning and tax planning. John Ryan, one of our three practicing attorneys, went on to obtain his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, as well as becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is now one of three people in the U.S. that holds all of those designations. Acorn Estate Planning now has close relationships with Financial Advisors and Insurance Professionals who can offer advice to you in regards to Estate Planning.
Eighty percent of all people never complete their estate plans. Without proper estate planning - which includes proper Wills, Trusts, General and Health Care Power of Attorneys, and Advanced Medical Directives - the assets that one holds are left vulnerable after their death. Completing proper estate planning ensures the distribution of your assets to your chosen heirs. Many of these documents are also incredibly useful during your life as well, as they can give legal power to people and protect your assets while alive, should disaster hit.
With over twenty years of experience in comprehensive Estate Planning, we offer complete services to our clients, from initial meetings, to document drafting, to review and signing, to annual review of documents, and examination of law changes and how they may affect our clients. Our approach is Family Centered, and we assist clients of all ages and financial backgrounds in creating an estate plan that will assist our clients and protect their heirs. We offer complimentary seminars that review the different parts of an estate plan, and the uses and distinctions of each document. We also offer complimentary consultation meetings, should you decide to come in and discuss your Estate Planning needs.
