Partners Jeffrey Dunn, Esq. and Rob Luthman, Esq. were both on trial this week in Mercer County Superior Court. Trying cases in adjacent courtrooms throughout the week, their juries returned verdicts favorable to their respective clients within minutes of one another.

Partner Rob Luthman, Esq. once again organized and ran the New Jersey Defense Association's annual Trial College at the Union County courthouse. "Student" attendees interactively performed opening statements/closing arguments and direct/cross examinations of experts based upon a fact pattern from a case Rob tried to verdict last year.

A State of Emergency could not stop this year’s NJDA Trial College! Yesterday an esteemed group of instructors guided attendees through openings/closings and expert examinations at the Union County courthouse. Special thanks to the Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, P.J.Cv. and Eric Mittelmann, M.D. who assisted with the program, and to the entire Union County vicinage for opening the courthouse doors on a court holiday.

Partners Rob Luthman and Jeff Dunn attended the New Jersey Defense Association Annual Convention at Mohegan Sun, gaining valuable insight from knowledgeable practitioners and experts. Mr. Luthman, the NJDA's outgoing Chairperson of the Board, was also honored as NJDA Attorney of the Year for 2025.

Partner Rob Luthman was interviewed by Charles Toutant of the NJ Law Journal regarding the judicial vacancies that continue to hamper the Mercer County Vicinage. Vacancies such as these place a substantial burden, not only on litigants and attorneys, but—most importantly—on the judges who must keep the system functioning under increasingly difficult circumstances.
