I have been practicing law since 1990. After serving as a law clerk to an appellate court judge, I began my practice with a medium sized firm in downtown Seattle. Although I learned a great deal about insurance defense and civil litigation, I quickly discovered that I did not enjoy working for corporations that could dictate what I did and how I did it. I started my own firm within a year and neve

r looked back. Some 26 years later, I continue to own and operate my solo law practice, now located in Everett. I represent individuals and small businesses, not large corporations. I will travel to meet with clients whose mobility is limited. I take pride in the personal attention each of my clients receives and in the focus and creative energy I invest in every case. My own experience in a serious car crash in 2008 gives me insight into the struggles and needs of my personal injury clients. I passionately fight for their legal rights every day. I aggressively seek justice and equity for my civil and domestic law clients. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and treated fairly, and I strive to be their voice when it matters most. Whether you are actively looking for an attorney or have a basic question about the law, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will always do my best to share information and my honest opinion with you. Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.

Under product liability standards, an item is considered defective if it is more dangerous than an average consumer would reasonably expect. These safety protections apply to everyone involved in selling the product, including the manufacturer and the store where you bought it.

The consumer expectation test judges whether a product is defective based on what an ordinary consumer would reasonably expect from it.
