Georgia's Motorcycle Attorney

Georgia's Motorcycle Attorney A Biker's Law Firm Richard A. Ingram, Jr. was born in Augusta, Georgia on November 26th 1959. and while doing so attended Augusta College graduating in 1987.

His first love for two wheels was his metallic blue Schwinn Stingray bicycle with a banana seat, sissy bar and high rise handle bars. He and his friends would often drag race one another for bragging rights. In 1971, Richard got his first motorcycle at age 11, a new red Honda SL70. It was cutting edge at the time and Richard learned to race it and wheelies were his specialty. In 1973 he upped it t

o a Honda XL 100 and entered in it in enduro races, winning the 1975 Studhorse Enduro in McCormick, SC . In the 1970's Richard's mother and father started a Masonry Construction Company and Richard inherited their work ethic as a teenager helping his Dad maintain his fleet of trucks, tractors and small engines. From that experience he became a good wrench as they say and today still enjoys modifying and maintaining his two 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycles, one is turbo charged and the other has 178 hp. Richard attended public schools in Augusta and graduated from Westside High School in 1977. He then worked for his Dad's company as a brick mason for six years building schools, shopping centers, and malls. In 1983 while enjoying his hobby of weightlifting he injured his back sidelining him from construction work. That summer he started working at a top law firm in Augusta known as Fleming and Blanchard, P.C. He then attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama graduating in 1990 at the top of his class, having made the Dean's List every semester. Richard then returned to Augusta, Georgia and for the last 22 years has maintained an active personal injury practice focusing primarily on motorcycle accidents, and wrongful death claims. Richard supports and rides in charity biker events all over the state. He often speaks to bike clubs and individual bikers educating them about biker safety and giving them the knowledge needed to buy proper insurance coverage to protect themselves from inattentive vehicles in case of an accident. Richard represents his local motorcycle shops Augusta Harley Davidson, Street and Trail Motorsports and Tomberlin Outdoors (A Victory Motorcycle Dealership). He is a member of the AMA, the Augusta HOG Chapter, the National HOG, and an active member of Abate of Georgia (District 8). As an AIM attorney Richard is geared up to help all Georgia riders with their legal needs.

The hot weather is finally here, so riders and drivers, please be mindful of one another. It's a good idea to take a look at your insurance coverage and make sure that you are prepared for the unexpected. In the real world only you can look out for you and your family. Consider Medpay coverage, and definitely don't reject UM coverage. It's your best friend when the need arises.
