Hello Forest Hills family! This month we're doubling up: Everyone say hi to our Pets of the Month: Syrinx and Simba! 🐱🐱🧡

First up: Syrinx. Orange and white, and known around the house as Mr. or Little Snuggle Bug depending on the vibe. Named after a chimera from "the book" (if you know, you know 👀 and no, not the disease). Syrinx's love language is fetch and cuddles, his favorite toy is a blue sparkly fuzzy ball, and his treat of choice is cream cheese and tuna puree. Oh, and he sits before supper. Mom insists. He also invented fetch in this household and graciously taught his brother.

And then there's Simba. Yes, like the movie, and he accepts nothing less than the full dramatic "Simmmmmmba" pronunciation. All orange, Simba's hobbies include talking (about anything and everything), launching himself approximately 10 feet into the air after the feather wand, and tackling his brother when he least expects it. He never sees it coming. He never will.

We asked the brothers to share a few thoughts:

Syrinx: "I taught him everything he knows. The fetch, the sitting, the sparkle ball technique. You're all very welcome."
Simba: "He did not teach me everything! I have developed several original moves. Also I can JUMP. Did anyone mention the jumping? Ten feet. AT LEAST."

Best friends. Brothers. Tiny menaces. We are obsessed with them. 🐾✨
