Practicing tonight with Mary. Super ultralight tarp tent camping for the fall season. My favorite time to backpack honestly. No bugs no snow, cooler weather here we go. I'm trying to make sure this setup will work because it weighs like a pound and a half including the tiny bivysac versus the other options. Planning to do the three sisters loop next month if weather and work permits. Looking good so far.

Jason Kappenman was raised in beautiful Eugene, OR. After Graduating from Sheldon High School in 1990, he joined the US NAVY. Jason served on the USS Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier in the gulf in 1990, and was deployed again to Bosnia in 1993. Jason met his beautiful wife while stationed at NAS Whidbey Island in Washington between deployments. They married a week before his 1993 deployment and still enjoy each other after 24 years. After fulfilling his duty in 1994, Jason and his wife moved back to Eugene and started their family. They now have 2 children: Daughter Greta, born in 2000 and son Kyran, born in 2002. Jason and his family have lived in the Cottage Grove area since 1999.

After serving in the NAVY, Jason received his 2 year Business/Real Estate degree at LCC. Jason earned his real estate license in 1996, working for Equity Realty BH&G, back before REALTORS even had access to the internet! In 2010 Jason earned his Principal Brokers license and found his way back into real estate sales. Jason has worked with hundreds of buyers and sellers with all aspects of residential sales; short sales, foreclosures, auctions, and his all-time favorite EQUITY Sales.

When not selling real estate, Jason appreciates Oregon's many outdoor recreation activities with his family, notably camping, fishing, biking, snowboarding and riding snow mobiles. Even though Jason works with an established client base he is never too busy for referrals. Jason truly loves what he does and ongoing referrals mean the world to Jason and his family.
