"I had an unforeseen issue arise that really caught me off guard. The whole situation was just crazy and very unique just to me. At first the thought of self representation popped into my mind but after second thought I knew professional representation was the best thing for me.

Thanks to a friend, I was referred to Sebald, Hackwelder and Knox. I called them up and scheduled a sit down meeting with Attorney Justin Smith. Right out the gate I felt like I made the right choice and felt confident that Justin would do his very best for me. We talked and I told him about myself and my past and where I had gotten to in life. He realized what I had on the line and went to work for me. Fast forward to the preliminary date.

Justin showed up with an agenda and goal of achieving the most favorable result possible and did just that. He got my charged felony 3 dismissed and misdemeanor 3 dropped to a summary offense with a minimal fine and court costs. It was truly a innocent mistake on my behalf when I filled some paperwork out for a background check for a firearm and it turned into so much more than I could have ever imagined.

There was a possibility of 8 years behind bars and/or high fines. All due to checking the wrong box on the background check. As of today I am on the other side of this big misconception of my character and my intent.

I couldn't have asked for a better outcome of this messed up situation and I have this firm and specifically Justin Smith to be thankful for. I highly recommend them for your representation if you find yourself looking to claim your innocence in the court of law.”
